About Barouch Giechaskiel

Barouch Giechaskiel graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000, and was awarded his Ph.D. by the same university in 2005. He was a research fellow at the European Commission – DG Joint Research Centre (JRC), Institute for Environment and Sustainability in Ispra until 2009. From 2009 until 2013, he was employed by AVL Graz as an application engineer for AVL’s Particle Number Counter. Currently, he is the scientific laboratory manager of the Vehicle Emission Laboratories of the JRC of the European Commission in Italy. He contributes to projects such as RDE (Real Driving Emissions), PMP (Particle Measurement Programme), and PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement Systems).

Since starting weight training in 1997, Barouch has been following both scientific and non-scholarly literature on resistance training. He has authored the following books:
